If the DIM weight (Length x Width x Height ÷ 166) is greater than the actual package weight, you’ll need to pay the DIM weight price. This applies to all mail classes-domestic and international. If you have a First-Class Package Service-Retail ® that weighs 7.3 oz, it must be charged at the 8 oz-rate. For example, if your package weighs 3 lbs 5 oz, it would be charged at the 4 lb-rate.
